Founding partner · Attorney

A lawyer and engineer, Marcelo has devoted more than twenty years to the central questions of the regulatory state and infrastructure, taking a leading role in regulation, concessions, partnerships and large-scale investment. Much of that path was built at Brazil's Federal Court of Accounts (TCU), where he acted as advisor to a Justice, head of audit and General Counsel, reporting directly to the Court's Presidency. In those roles he scrutinized privatizations and concessions, followed the regulation of sectors such as telecommunications, electricity, oil and gas, mining and aviation, and defended the Court's institutional powers before the Supreme Federal Court. At the Presidency of the Republic, he served as Secretary for Transport Coordination of the Investment Partnerships Program (PPI), steering port, highway and railway projects of national reach. From that experience comes a perspective that weaves together law, economics and governance, translating into solutions for complex challenges such as public-private partnerships, public-policy design and the regulation of public utilities.

Natália Ferdinand Martins Ferreira

Founding partner · Attorney

A lawyer with more than eight years of experience and a distinctive, cross-cutting practice across the three Branches of government — Executive, Legislative and Judicial. She stands out for her ability to articulate legal solutions in highly complex environments, combining technical rigor, institutional dialogue and political-strategic vision. This integrated approach gives her the agility to move among diverse and interconnected matters, translating contentious, regulatory and transactional challenges into holistic solutions that are legally sound and strategically tailored to the particularities of each sector.

Her practice brings together, in a coordinated way, strategic corporate and tax litigation — with a focus on the higher courts —, government relations and regulatory law, alongside engagement with diplomatic missions and government bodies to clear matters relating to international trade. It is precisely the connection among these fronts that sustains an integrated and proactive approach, enabling her to anticipate scenarios, act preventively in structuring transactions, mitigate legal and institutional risks and identify market-expansion opportunities — offering clients not merely the defense of positions, but the construction of secure paths to consolidate their reputation.
